The Man with Two Brains

A brilliant neurosurgeon finds himself in a telepathic relationship with a surgically removed brain.  

Dr. Hfuhruhurr is the world’s brightest neurosurgeon for his innovative cranial screw top brain entry surgerical technique.  While in Vienna, another surgeon, Dr. Necessiter eagerly shows Dr. Hfuhruhurr his radical research that preserves and stores live human brains.  A lonely Dr. Hfuhruhurr finds that he can telepathically communicate with the brain of Anne Uumellmahaye, and he finds her conversation to be enchanting.  Dr. Hfuhruhurr falls in love with Anne for her personality rather than her body.  But when the brain of Miss Uumellmahaye begins to die, Dr. Hfuhruhurr must decide between saving Anne or committing murder.

Henry, a prominent defense lawyer, attempts to rebuild his life after a shooting leaves him with significant brain damage.    


Henry, an aggressive defense lawyer, is shot in the head and shoulder during a robbery. He wakes up in the hospital unable to speak, coordinate his movements, and has extensive memory loss. His doctor explains that interrupted blood flow to the brain resulted in generalized brain damage. During rehabilitation, he is able to regain some verbal ability and motor function, but not his memory. He goes home, and manages to reconnect with the family he barely remembers. He returns to work, but now has ethical concerns with his previous cases. He decides to firmly establish himself as a different person rather than attempting to identify the person he used to be.

In spite of his social challenges, Adam, a lonely man with Asperger's Syndrome, begins a romantic relationship with his neighbor Beth.

Adam, a socially-awkward but intelligent man with Asperger's, struggles to get his life back on track after the death of his father and the loss of his job.  Adam copes by rigidly following a regular schedule that includes engaging in the same activities day after day.  He is thrown for a loop, however, when he meets Beth.  The two start up a friendship that blossoms into a romantic relationship.  As their relationship develops, the couple face increasing challenges as they try to understand one another and they begin to question whether a relationship between a man with Asperger's and a neurotypical woman can survive.

When his father leaves most of his inheritance to his long-lost autistic brother Raymond, Charlie is determined to find him and claim what he believes is his. Charlie liberates Raymond from his care facility and sees an opportunity to exploit his brother’s extraordinary savant memory and make a fortune in Las Vegas.  But, Raymond's lack of social awareness and rigid routine irritate his brother on the trip.  Throughout their trip, Charlie learns more about his brother, autism, and savant syndrome, and what true brotherhood is.

Miles, a young boy with exceptional musical talent and Tourette’s Syndrome, has a life changing encounter when he meets Tyrone, a musician who also suffers from Tourette’s.

Miles is a 12-year-old boy with exceptional talent for piano and suffers from Tourette’s Syndrome (TS).  At school, bullies harass him because of his tics.  He prefers to spend his time at the local jazz club where Tyrone Park, a jazz saxophonist, asks him to join in, but Miles’ tics intensify and he is unable to play. Later, he impresses Tyrone with his talent.  Miles and his mother, Laura, learn that Tyrone has TS as well and a romantic relationship develops between Laura and Tyrone.  After a stressful encounter with his dad and a fight between Laura and Tyrone, Miles has a severe tic episode.  He runs off with his mother’s gun intending to commit suicide, but is found by Tyrone who helps him work out his troubles.

A man struggles over the fact that his wife, who has been institutionalized for Alzheimer’s disease, is now in love with another man in the care facility. 

Fiona Anderson has just been admitted to Meadowlake long term care facility for probable Alzheimer’s disease.  For the first 30 days , Fiona is not allowed any visitors, including her husband of 42 years, Grant.  After "the adjustment" period is over, Grant is eager and nervous to see how his wife is coping.  What he finds is that Fiona’s dementia has progressed to the point where she does not recognize nor remember him and instead has transferred her affections to another patient, Aubrey. Grant struggles with sacrificing his love for Fiona, so that Fiona may find happiness.

Rizwan Khan is a young Indian man with Asperger’s Disorder. A literal interpretation of an angry statement from his estranged wife Mandira leads him on a quest to deliver a personal message to the President of the United States that he is not a terrorist. Khan’s quest to fix things with Mandira leads him into adventure, misfortune and friendship as his Asperger’s Disorder, and with it its proclivity towards restricted interests and obliviousness to social cues, both helps and hinders Khan’s efforts to win Mandira back.

 Marcie, a young woman with Tourette’s Syndrome (TS), meets Seth while shop-lifting and the two spontaneously take off to Canada in this dark romantic drama. When denied in their attempt to obtain Haldol without a prescription, they steal L-Dopa instead, which worsen Marcie’s symptoms. Marcie’s rage attacks, portrayed as being caused by TS, continually land them in deeper trouble until the situation escalates to an unfortunate ending.

Brad Cohen, a young man with Tourette’s Syndrome (TS), dreams of a career in teaching.  But, as a child, kids teased him and adults scolded him for his outbursts and tics.  Despite the poor understanding of his condition by most and his father’s lack of acceptance Brad is determined to be a teacher.  When he gets a chance to be a second grade teacher he can finally teach others about TS and show he’s got what it takes to be teacher of the year.
